Allergic rhinitis, also known as hay fever, occurs when your body reacts to allergens such as mold, pollen, or dust. Ragweed and Grass also result in hay fever. The symptoms associated with this ailment are congestion, hives, itching, tickly feeling in the nose, coughing, sneezing, running nose, itchy and red eyes, hives, itchy throat, etc. Though hay fever is not a serious disease; however, may cause uneasiness and discomfort. Infants and young kids easily get prone to hay fever. There are several home remedies to get rid of hay fever. Besides natural cures, changes in lifestyle and diet will also help you a lot in early recovery.
Home Remedies to Get Rid of Hay Fever
Honey has natural bee pollens in it which contribute to reducing the effects of air-borne pollens on the body. An increased intake of honey daily improves the health significantly.

2. Vitamin C
Vitamin C alleviates the symptoms of hay fever. Oranges, grapefruits, and lemons consist of vitamin C and bioflavonoid which aid in decongestion and give anti-allergy effects. Adding these fruits to your diet can improve the condition faster.
Alternatively, boil the pulp of grapefruit and lemon in 1 cup of water for at least 15 minutes. When the mixture gets cool down, add raw honey to it.
3. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)
Make sure you use apple cider vinegar to treat hay fever as it works wonder. Dilute 1/8 cup of ACV with 16 ounces of water. Keep this mixture in your kitchen ready-to-use, and keep drinking it now and then.

To obtain its benefit, boil about half cup of fresh or dried lagundi in 2 cups of water for 15 minutes. Drink half a cup of this tea for three days.
