1. Ginger

Ginger roots are extremely effectual in improving the blood circulation. Boil a cup of water and add crushed root in it. Simmer it for a couple of minutes. Strain and drink this herbal infusion two times a day to reduce the severity of fibromyalgia.

  • Alternatively, you can also mix 4-6 ounces of ginger powder in the hot bath water and soak in it. It will induce sweating, which helps flush out toxins from the body and thus soothes muscles.

2. Castor Oil

Apply castor oil around the affected area. It acts as a natural pain reliever and thus, eases inflammation. You may slightly lukewarm the oil before massaging it.

8. White Willow

White willow bark contains salicin, a natural pain reliever that converts into salicylic acid when consumed. It helps treat the inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, muscle spasm, menstrual cramps, osteoporosis, and gout, etc. It is suggested to take 50mg of white willow bark thrice a day.

9. Valerian

Boil valerian roots in 250 ml of water. Steep it for 8 hours and filter the solution. Add honey for a better taste. Drink twice a day. The problem of insomnia can be cured with this herbal decoction.

10. Lavender

Mix a few drops of lavender oil along with the carrier oil. Massage with this on the affected area and keep it overnight. For best results, heat the oil before use.
