1. Homemade Shea Nut Oil and Beeswax Balm
The oils used in this DIY ease the pain and provide instant relief. Just heat and melt grapeseed oil, beeswax, and Shea nut oil together. Remove it from the stove when they are thoroughly mixed. Put all other ingredients and let it set in any container and you are done.
2. Headache Soothing Salve
You will need extra virgin olive oil, castor oil, magnesium oil, citrus oil, lavender oil, peppermint oil and some beeswax, to prepare this salve. First of all, heat and melt olive oil and beeswax on a double boiler. When these are properly mixed, remove the mix from the boiler and put in all the other ingredients. Keep the mixture in thefreezer for some time and let it set. The balm is ready.
3. Homemade Essential Oils Headache Soother
This is the easiest DIY that you can try if you are facing the shortage of time. Just combine orange essential oil, lavender essential oil, olive oil, and peppermint essential oil. Place it in a roller-ball container or any other container. Rub it on the temples and forehead for quick relief.
4. Baking Soda and Essential Oils Shower Tablet
What is better than taking a bath to relax the nerves and ease out the pain. All you require to do is, mix baking soda and water thoroughly in a mixing bowl and put the mixture into molds of your choice. Put these mold in a preheated oven for 15 minutes. After that, add lavender and peppermint essential oils to it. Let the tablets cool down properly. Once they have cooled down, remove them from the molds and store in a container. Place one or two of them in a tub of warm water and take a bath.
5. Herbal Headache Relieving Balm
For preparing herbal balm, infuse the carrier oils (olive oil, jojoba oil, etc.) in an airtight container with any of the herb (Calendula, chamomile, lavender, peppermint, etc.) for 2-3 days. Let the oil acquire the properties of these herbs. Strain the oil and melt beeswax in it. Put the mix in a clean container and let it cool down and harden.
